Wishlist...

I recently became entranced by cake stands. I guess it started when I received a vintage metal stand as a gift and ever since then I have been on the lookout for my next purchase. Perusing the web, I found several that I decided need to become part of my collection:

1. Tidbit Tray from Target (love the cupcake on top)
2. Birds on Wire from Fishs Eddy (adorable bird pattern)
3. Polka Dots from Gooseberry Patch (really like the shape)
4. Rosanna Red Dots from Amazon (love polka dots)
5. Playing House from Rosanna (such lovely pastels)
6. Jadeite from Fishs Eddy (I collect jadeite)

Pink Nose Project

I am participating in The Pink Nose Project where schools send stuffed animals to someone they know and then they pass it on to someone else and so on and so on so that it makes it's way around the country or world. Basically, you write in a journal about what the animal would do in your city and you can take pictures of it too. Then you proceed to pass it on to the next person and it eventually makes its way back to the starting point. My stuffed animal is a monkey whose name is Monkey. Imagine that! So I thought I would share his adventures around town with you:

Sunday Brunch

We went to Sunday Brunch today at one of our favorite local restaurant's, Cafe Karibo. We love the atmosphere of this eatery and their outdoor eating area is so nice. I had to get my favorite, French Toast with Virginia Ham. It was delicious as always! I have tried to replicate this meal at home and have come close. I like to use the Pepperidge Farm Cinnamon Swirl bread instead of sourdough.

When we were done eating, we came out to find this cute little kitty napping on the hood of the car. The restaurant we ate at always has cats running around begging for your food. I guess that's part of it's charm! Afterward, we went to see the movie, Juno. It was wonderful. Funny, sweet, witty, and sassy all rolled into one little cinematic package. My kind of film.
